Bottle at Higgins. Intense high quality coffee notes, fruity tart, rural, earthy, really nice aroma. Black, brown cream. Medium body mellow dry. Fine roast, fruity coffee acidity, light nut/almond, fresh ground coffee in the exit. Never had a coffee stout where fruity light roasted notes came through like this. Excellent.

On tap at the source. Clear gold, mild nose. Nice mouthfeel, good bubbles, light citrus and hint of caramel. Good balance of tasty bitterness with moderate malty body.

Drunk after the first day in my new office building, at Higgins which is conveniently 300m away. Fruity nose with lots of citrus, pineapple, pine, a bit of flowers. Very intense flavor! Slender body, nice smooth but commanding bitterness. Hints of caramel. The multi-fruit, slightly-tropical, mildly dank notes are just awesome!

On tap at Higgins Alehouse München Friday 12th January 2023. Pours clear gold with a white head, soft moutheel, simple, some light crispness and a touch dry and there is a little dryness, mid fruity. Good.

On tap at Higgins Alehouse, München Friday 13th January 2023. Pours pitch black with a mid sized cappuccino coloured head, lovely coffee aroma, roasty and a hint of liquorice. Plenty of coffee in the mouth, good roasty malty body considering the modest abv. There is also a little bit of the aforementioned liquorice in the mouth, nice balanced stout.

Bottle picked up from Higgins recently, had this at home Sunday 11th December 2022, we had Beef in Stout, with a Celeriac Püree, Roasted Carrots and Potatoes, on a What's App video call with Nick and Anna. Pours golden with a white head. Nice hoppiness from the off, a little crisper that anticipated, good fruity bite, both citrus and tropical fruit detected. Nice.
