Bottle courtesy of Dave Ratebeer München tasting group, cheers mate. Consumed at home Thursday 13th January 2022 listening Marc Riley on 6Music with just had Goulash with Rice. Pours dirty dark brown with an off white head. Despite being a barrel version that I actually don't ordinarily like this is very good, the typical BIPA hallmarks are all there, nice roastiness, citrus, good bitterness.

--Bottled, thanks koelaschtrinker! -- Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Grassy tangerine aroma. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and bready with citrus and minerals. Long bitter finish. Interesting, and pleasant, but I don't get why it is named Zoigl?

Bottle from the brewery. Lightly golden amber with mild haze, moderate head. Indeed light stone fruit notes, very soft and pear like. Nice mouthfeel from the wheat. Very soft fruity/flowery white wine hop notes blending with hints of malt; light bitterness.

Bottle from the brewery; 6.7% drunk while firing up season two of The Witcher. Very dark brown, decent and pretty head. Nose is malty with good hop character, earthy with fruity/citrus hints. The flavor has a hint of dank goodness with some lemon and orange, but the earthiness blends very well with the dark roasted malt notes. An excellent hoppy dark beer! (finally, there's a dark hop bomb that's not a 10%+ sweet/bitter double double imperial stout.)

Bottle. Hazy dark red to brown. Fairly aromatic hop perfume, light vanilla, wood and rum note. Medium to full mellow body. Dry wood and rum spiciness, fresh chocolate and roast notes, light molassis sweetness, almonds, flowery and light herbal hops. Very nice balance between the aged and the fresh components, lovely!

Bottle. Brown color with soapy white head. Aroma is rum, caramel, vanilla, mild grassiness, cocoa. Taste is cocoa, rum, grassy-leafy, quite bitter in the back, but not just hops, also dark chocolate. The barrel is very well-integrated. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Chapeau, Paul, chapeau!
