Sampled @ Braukunst Live 2020. A dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark strong roasted malt, red fruits, caramel, resins. Taste of bitter resinous hops, spruce, dark caramelized malt. Long bitter finish.

Tap at Tilmans Friends of mine fest. Hazy golden, off-white lace. Melon and grapeskin aroma, a bit minerals, medium dry body, light smoke and clay phenols, grape and melon finish, neat.

Tap at Tilmans Friends of Mine fest. Light dusty citrus peel. Cloudy orange Amber, off-white cream. Chewy bisquit malt, lovely hop profile on the palate. Crushable.

Re-rate from bottle. Red cloudy chestnut, big golden brown foam. Nice roast, berry and citruspeel nose. Medium full chunky roasted peanut, berry caramel, and a good aromatic hop wallop. Very flavorfull but remains quite drinkable and moreish. Old rating: 7 4 7 3 12 Tap at Tilmanns fest. Perfumed roast notes, medium body, sticky, perfumed stickiness, a bit unbalanced.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is piney, pale malts, herbal hops, grassy. Taste is piney, grassy, peach, medium bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Tap at Frisches Bier. Hazy Amber, frothy golden head. Lovely pea h and pine aroma with tropical Play. Dry mellow, pine, light chalky, fresh take on classic notes.

Can from the brewer himself. Orange Amber, very light haze, decent head. Fruity esters, tropical and citrus. Flavor has some piney notes behind to balance the tropical fruits. Caramel rounds it out very well. Not one of those overly bitter medicinal IPA's - very smooth and drinkable!

On tap at True Brew Friday 15th November 2019. In the company of Arthur Kostas and Giovanna. I had this after the True Brew Pumpkin Ale which for me was easily the better of the two. Pours hazy light gold with a white head, soft mouthfeel, thin and watery a little light lemony bite. In comparison to the True Brew version of this style, the Pumpkin is lacking here, however if you like the Pumpkin to be much more subtle then this would be the beer for you.

Tap. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, bready yeasts, nice hop counterpoint there. Taste is chocolate, Appenzeller Biberli, some leafy hops. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nice!
