12 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a pitch black color with dark ruby highlights and a tight beige head with great retention. Spotty lacing. Pretty pour. Aroma of dark malts, molasses, and some dark chocolate. The flavor follows the nose with just a hint of coffee. All the elements are present in equal amounts. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Medium-heavy body with a creamy mouthfeel. Smooth, clean finish. Not really robust, but a good porter.

Can, Wegmans. Hazy pale gold with a white head. Nose smells like watermelon to me, but I suppose it's passionfruit, green leaf, and sea salt. Flavor is definitely passionfruit... green leaf, bread crust, salt... like salt salt.

Can, Wegmans. Hazy gold, almost neon in this light, white head. Green onion, citrus peel, pale malt nose. Pine, indiscernible citrus peel, light stone fruit, caramel, light vanilla. Missing something.

Roast and coffee. Nice balance here, and nice robust porter. Hopefully this starts to turn up more often in D.C. area like some of their other beers. Black pour with good head and lacing. Some sharp bark. Bitter finish. Nice body, earthy kind of texture. Can.

Strong medium roast coffee aroma. Black, thin tan head. Coffee and charcoal. Full body, easy carbonation, alcohol is well concealed. Heavily flavored, underlying base beer is very toasty.
