(Keg at Juova, 20260103) The beer poured golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, honey,, strong herbal notes and bitterness. Aftertaste had herbalness, grain and bitterness. A tasty grainy brew with strong herbal hop notes.

Malty and grassy with a crisp, lively carbonation. Even a touch of vanilla? In flavor. Not expecting thst in an IPL . The carbonation makes the beer not as quaffable as it. could be.

Can, 0.5l. Cloudy yellow pour, three finger frothy white head, long lasting, excellent retention, broken lacing on the glass. Nose is grass, grains, citrus. Veggie notes, light onion.
Light body, medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, refreshingly fizzy, some chewiness to it. Goes down nicely. Well balanced bittersweet taste with subtle sour notes in the background. Aroma of malt, grains, grass. Light spice, hints of onion, oats. Mild tropical notes, peach, white grapes, citrus peel, floral. Spice, minerals. Yeast. Slightly sticky. Medium lasting finish, light tart, slightly dry, mild lingering bitterness.

Can from wherever. Hazy shiny yellow body, off-whtie head. BIg resinous aroma, some grapes maybe. Lean, dry, earthy, resinous, citric, grape taste, weird after looking at the hop list, but works together, dry, almost crisp. Good stuff really, not great.

Can day 12 beer from Loz's advent calendar that I curated, picked up in Zagreb this year. Had this on day 25, so 25th December, Christmas Day after a short but extremely cold 🥶 6km loop hike to Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schofweg. Watching the latest Stranger Things on Netflix. We had Za'atar Roasted Squash with Spiced Yoghurt and Pickled Chillies also Quince and Pomegranate Glazed Pork also Lamb and Feta Börek and cous cous and finally Baba Ganoush. Pours pitch black, oily, smooth, lots of coffee, milky, creamy. Roasty and coffee floods through again, and reasonably well hidden, sweetness not so, pretty good but a bit of a one trick pony. Score 7.0

A: dried grapefruit peel, fried mushroom, red onion, toast, vague paint.
T: restrainedly sweetish dried fruits, nuts, very bitter grapefruit, earthy mushroom, toast.
F: very bitter earthy hops, bit peppery, red onion, citrus peel.
P: medium body, moussy texture, soft carbonation.
Pretty intense and bitter but lacks some genuine hop aroma.

T: sweetish mandarin & melon, biscuit, bitter grapefruit & orange peel.
F: very bitter resinous hops, grapefruit, orange peel, bit peppery.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Just a bit messy but enjoyable.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Hrabren, shared with him & Marko. Beetroot deep purple coloured, no head at all, light blueberry in the nose. Acidic blueberry, berries, some tea like notes, sage and herbal (Pelinkovac like) finish. Thick of course.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Hrabren, shared with him & Marko. Darker brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, caramel and light coconut in the nose. Toasted, caramel, light coconut and touch of herbs in the finish. Quite strong bitter finish and aftertaste.
