# 2155; 7/2020. Herbal and elderflowers aroma, slightly yeasty. Hazy, yellow body; persistent, white head. Malty, yeasty, elderflower, citrus, slightly gasoline in the finish. Quite fresh, good, flavored wheat ale, but I am not fan of elderflower flavor... Some faults in the finish. 1 l, plastic bottle, brewpub, Plzeň (Bohemia, CZ).

# 2153; 7/2020. Grainy, caramely and herbal aroma. Copper body, tan head. Sweet, grainy, caramely, toffee. Sweeter bohemian amber lager. 1,5 l, plastic bottle, brewpub, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

# 2152; 7/2020. Aroma is malty and orange. Hazy, gold body; off-white head. Malty, zesty, orange. Long and slightly harsh, herbal bitter finish. Quitte good beer but I am not a fan of this new hops in bohemian lagers. 1 l, plastic bottle, brewpub, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

Bottle from Base Camp. Murky ochre body, lasting off white head. Dry, sweetish aroma without anything coming out much, bar from an odd tart touch, huh. Lean taste, vaguely tart, odd fruity touches, yeasty touch in the finish. This is either crazy gone or terrible to begin with. Damn. Terrible even without any huge off flavors.

Bottle from BaseCamp. Murky orange-ochre body, dark, off white head. Lovely aroma really, spruce needles, flowery touches, honeyish maltiness. The taste is spruce-dominated, piney, flowery, the name's definitely correct. If not for some odd yeastiness in the finish, this would be excellent, but it's even nice regardless of that.

Bottle at Base Camp. Murky brown-orange body, white head - small. Light, sweetish aroma, without any real features. Sweet taste, some light mayo-like oaty notes and that's it. Not undrinkable but extremely boring. Whatever Palisade was there is gone. Dull, immensely dull but inoffensive.

Bottle from Base Camp. Murky, opaque ochre-reddish body, of white head. Creamy berry aroma, vaaague funk, bite. Taste... hmmm... nice soft grainy background, subdued but very creamy berry notes, very light funk near the finish, which also has some bittering hops. Actually, not a bad beer, just don't expect an entirely true to style saison. Then again, who would.
