Bottle at home. Pours deep ruby, nose is caramel, vanilla, some coconut, berries, meaty, taste is smoked sausage, vanilla, caramel, fruity, creamy, pretty good.

Bottle at Zum Franziskaner. Golden with a white head. Bread, grass, mild fruit and some honey. A decent one.

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Vanilla, caramel and oak aroma. Taste is toasted bitter with a lot of caramel malt around the edge. Finishes much the same with a bit of bourbon and herbal spice. Full-bodied, rich, smooth. Mildly warming but the alcohol remains hidden. Good!

On tap at Zum Franziskaner. Golden with a white head. Dry and clean with grass, bread and floral hops. Quite bitter. Refreshing.

Fat @ Zumen. Pils i den blommiga tyska stilen. Det är cleant, naturligt och massor av hö och blommor. Beskan är markerad men inte för aggressiv.

Gold with a thin, frothy, white head. Grainy, floral aroma with a bit of buttered white bread and cardboard. Taste is mildly caramel sweet, yeasty and bready. Dryer and grainy at the back, which is increasingly bitter. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Actually quite decent for the style.
