Bottle at Café Abseits, Bamberg. Citrussy fruity hops with juicy orange, tangerine, soft tropical notes, light malt, and floral notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Very pleasant citrussy Pale Ale.

Wiethaler Weihnachts-Festbier, jetzt mit sortentypischen 5,5 %, Flasche vom Landbierparadies24. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar; dunkler Schaum. - In der Nase recht kerniges dunkles und röstiges Malz, Brotkruste, feine Kaffeesäure, etwas Karamel und sehr dezente herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk satt und kernig dunkel- und noch mehr röstmalzig, wobei die Röstnoten stark abgerundet und in den brotigen, leicht karamelsüßen Malzkörper eingebettet sind. Nur milde aber ausreichende herbale, ganz blaß zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. Milder rezent, füllig vollmundig. Auch im Abgang hält der Hopfen sich eher bedeckt, gibt der reichen Malzigkeit aber dennoch Struktur und Tiefe. Sehr schönes dunkles Märzen! (21.12.2024.)
