A copper brown beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma is mild, malty, only mild smokyness, roastiness, some plastic. Taste is malty, quite dry smokyness, nice sweetness in the background, also some unpleasant plastic. Medium bodied, nice and slippery to drink. Not very succesfull beer, plastic bothers me, especially when beer is cold, but there are three months to BBE, thus this should be OK. Slightly smoky beer, "personal", easy Rauchbier.

Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Very smokey aroma. Starts mild-malty, not as smokey as exspected, modest dry. Some fruity hints of plum. Finish mild, well balanced but still too less smokey.

Bottled (from Landbierparadies). Orangeish golden colour with mediumsized white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, banana, some herbs and mild wooden notes. Flavour is wheat, banana, some wood, mild yeasty notes and also has a quite tart edge to it.

Clear dark nut brown color, good off-white head. Bready, caramelly aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite bitter (and alcoholic) bock, caramel, rye bread. Quite flat mouthfeel. Unconventional bock in its bitterness.

Bottled (from Landbierparadies). This one goes out to my uncle Göran, who passed away in cancer earlier today. A lot of nice memories from my childhood rush through my mind this evening. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is bready, caramelly and a bit crystal malty along with some floral and mildly wooden notes as well. Flavour is wooden, bitter grassy and herbal along with some some floral notes as well. Also some sweet maltyness balancing it up. A very pleasantly balanced brew.

2011-04-12, bottle from Abseits Cafe, Bamberg, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Dark amber-brown color; compact head. Nice, lean aroma of smoke, wood. The carbonation is low, that allows to better appreciate the good caramel flavor (dry) and clean smoke; correct bitterness.
Moderate Rauchbier, elegant and very well balanced.
2010-05-19, bottle at Plan B, Copenhagen, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Dark amber to brown color, clean; big head. Mild smoke aroma, dry, some roasted malt. Medium body strength, dry dark caramel in the front, with some roasted malts; good smoke presence; the final shows some more sweetness. Good.
