Frisch malziger Antrunk, würziger werdend. Die Malzigkeit, die alleinsteht, breitet sich aus und wird zum Ende hopfig und teilweise bitter. Die Würzigkeit ist angenehm, scheint aber nur oberflächlich zu sein. Dahinter, am Anfang verdeckt, agiert eine zum Ende hin erkennbare Wässrigkeit. Kaum karamellig. Im Nachgeschmack intensiver malzig werdend, röstig. Kein Spitzenprodukt. Danke an wastl für das Bier! 8/9/9/11/9/9

Golden-brown. Some brown molassesy character. Very chewy and toasty with a full blown alcohol and deep sugar finish.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100804]

Swing-top bottle. Sweet orange/banana, malt, and vinegar aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with small head. Light sweet-sour banana and wheat malt flavor. Body a bit light. Decent but not great - this bottle was a bit past prime though.

clear brown/amber, sooth offwhite head. aroma is slightly smoked, faint flowery, sweet malty, smoked aroma fits well with the rest. flavor is quite smoked, sweet malty, still fresh´ish.. caramel, ends smoked, mild sweet bitter nutty and caramelly.

500ml flip-top bottle shared with Gunnar and OleR at Plan B. Clear, golden-brown body. Film-type lager. Fragile lacework. Sparse aroma of sweet malts. Sweet, earthy malts in flavour with just a discreet bite of rauch. Easy to quaff (Copenhagen, 05.05.2010).

Pours hazy amber color with off white head. Aroma of caramel with some sweet fruitiness. Very sweet caramel flavor with some figs and plastic. Very weird, not in a good way. Medium body with soft carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel.

Bottled (from bierkompass.de). Amber colour, mediumsized close to beige colour. Aroma is big on the malts, some raisins as well as mild hops and bready notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with a big fruity tone to it. Interesting thing that actually in colour was quite more to the pale side (according to my scale), but very much tasting like a big time bock (could even have done for a dark doppelbock with this complexity).

Bottle. Dark amber with a small thin foam that disappeared almost immediately. The aroma was quite mild smoky and sweet, also some malt. The taste was smoky, but not extreme. Some caramel, some ham. The liquid felt dry and oily, even a bit sour. Long finish, which was nice and smoky.
