Pour is a tea looking brown with a small white head. Aroma is some earthy malts but not much after that. Flavor is a decent roasted malt with a little molasses and licorice. Nothing great but easy to drink. The aroma is what hurt this one.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear deep golden colour, tiny head, very low carbonation. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, intensively malty with shy hints of barnyard, traces of nut. Spicy herbal hops add a nice accent in the lingering finish. An excentric, but highly enjoyable Franconian lager.

Draught @ Hutt’n. Hazy amber. Big thick head. Rustic aroma - light diacetyl, even pedio. Malt accent. Fresh taste, quite rustic again. Very yeasty. Light cookieish malt character. A re-rate at their keller outside Zentbechhofen rated higher, and an adjustment to the score has been made.

Draught at Fischer-Keller, Zentbechhofen/Greuth. Cloudy pale orange. Light citric banana aroma. medium sweet with spritzy rounded mouthfeel. Excellent malt flavour of vanilla and wheat crackers. restrained sweetness and good amount of esters makes superbly refreshing. Fischer-Keller is heaven on earth, and with walking distance of Zentbechhofen and the kellers at Kreuzberg it’s just an unbelievable place to be.
