Dunkelbräunliches Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, schokoladig. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, minimal würzig, schokoladig.

Bamberg Bash Day 3. Train swig. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Little floralness. Light tangy fruits. Touch of paper. Light dry finish. Meh!

Where: On a train during the Bamberg Jolly 2014.
Appearance: Golden colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Sweet malt, caramel.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Grass, floral, hops, grain.

Trübes orangegelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, leicht würzig.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt aroma. Color amber with a minimal off-white head. Barley malt and grassy-hay flavor.

Flasche vom Landbierparadies-Laden, Nürnberg. - Gelbbraun, leicht trüb, kaum Schaum. Antrunk karamelmalzig aber nicht zu süß. Sehr niedrig gespundet, fast schal, was aber durch die perfekt dosierte mild fruchtige und leicht grasige Hopfenherbe ausgeglichen wird. Glatt, sehr süffig. Erinnert trotz seiner handelsüblichen 4,9 Vol.-Prozent vom Aroma her an ein Bockbier. Längerer hopfenbitterer Nachtrunk. - Angenehmes, niedrig gespundetes und gut gehopftes Kellerbier.

Bottle from Landbierparadies shop, Nürnberg. - Deep mahagony with creamy beige head. Caramel and smoke aroma. Dark malt with mild sweetness, light smoke with a hint of salt. Slight fruit notes (orange peel). Soft carbonation. Quite dry; medium-bodied, almost thin. Light bitterness and only minimal hops in the end. - A mild, restrained, even elegant smoked beer with more smoke aroma than smoke flavour. Quaffable but a bit thin.
Wiederholung: vom Faß in der "Hütt’n", Nürnberg, 21.6.2014. - Rotbraun mit schön goldbraunem Ton. - In der Nase milde Rauchnoten über warmem Karamel und dunklem Malz. - Antrunk sahnig karamel-nussig mit dezenten Raucharomen. Mild rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang mild fruchtig-herber Aromahopfen. Leicht herber, hopfenwürziger Nachtrunk. - Ein Rauchbier der milderen Sorte, aber mit allerfeinsten Aromen in perfekter Balance und sehr süffig. Vom Faß deutlich besser als aus der Flasche. Meine Bewertung gilt für das Faßbier.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-spicy, modest wheaty. Some grasy hints. Finish almost a bit thin, but still okay. Quite drinkable.

On tap at the keller. Light smoke but good white pepper hop on the finish. Yes very light smoke that builds with the hop. Seriously different and good. Good beer.

On tap at the keller. Malty aroma but hoppy finish. Not the best but pretty much up there really drying hoppy finish. Pretty impressive poised. Solid Lagerbier with a very hoppy biting finish.
