Bottle: Poured a dark clear brown color bock with a tiny bubbly head with zero retention and no lacing. Aroma of unrefined grain with light burn toffee notes is not very enticing. Taste is also dominated by burn toffee with some acrid unrefined grainy notes. Body is average with low carbonation. There was really nothing in this beer that would make me want to try this again.

Bottle from a REWE in Forchheim. Clear gold in colour with next to no head. Aroma of strawberry, apricots and slightly buttery malts. Flavour had more fruit, some cereal notes and a moderately bitter finish. Butter aside, this wasn’t bad.
