(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a blond and firm medium-sized foamy head. Fruity and mildly flowery hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, onions and resin on a mildly malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated smooth mf. Dry, mildly malty base with a cornucopia of hoppy flavours, including citric, flowery, spicy and resiny notes; quite lasting, moderately hop bitter finish with a delicately sweet malty backbone. Balanced and moreish Imperial Lager. 12.I.17

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, hints of elderflowers and herbal spice, backed by mildly pale malt. Mildly bitter-sweet flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty base with traces of white bread and present fruity, mainly citric and slightly spicy hoppy notes; dry and a tad slim malty and mildly hop bitter finish with refreshing fruity and slightly spicy accents and a whiff of cereals in the aftertaste. Good. 12.I.17

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear dark amber. Aroma is straight grassy hoppy, with clear amber malt notes. Some caramel, light nuts. Body is medium, with a lively carbonation taking the lead in texture. Quite refreshing, almost a bit tart on the palate. Nice and tasty, although not your typical Märzen.

(Draught at Das Meisterstück, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, grass, citrus and fresh grassy hops. Malty taste with bread, citrus, grass, and a generous bitterness with fresh grassy, herbal hops. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Lean malt profile, but fresh hop character. Quite nice.
