Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown with copper glints and a tan head. Aroma somewhat suggests Mexican hot chocolate. Includes cinnamon and vanilla. And dark malt. Med ++ body, maybe full. Flavor is chocolate, chocolate, cinnamon, dark malt, vanilla, chocolate. Not at all dry. Maybe a hint of heat. Malt’s a tad bitter. Spices work well with the chocolate. Really pleasing.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt and alcohol. Med ++ body. Flavor is very toffee/treacle, quickly followed by lots of chocolate. Heat does not seem to be a problem. Not at all dry, and the chocolate and hop aren’t enough to squelch the malt, but this is an Impy Stout, so not an issue. Really very tasty. Bet it would be a treat with chocolate cake with chocolate icing and cherry filling.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical with notes of pineapple and coconut. It is to die for. Med + body. Flavor is fruit juicy with coconut - the juicy is mostly tropical, and there’s something very like a ripe pineapple. No acidity. Not heading for dry (coconut issue there) but very hoppy and pleasingly bitter. Exquisite.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is lightly juicy citrus. Med + body. Flavor is rather juicy with citrus the main thing. Very barely noticeable caramel support, but clearly it’s enough. Juicily undry, but hoppy and pleasingly bitter. Excellent ale.

Tap at Cap Hop. Aroma is dank and juicy. Med body. Flavor is dank and citrusy juicy. So not wholly dry cause juicy, but the huge amount of dankish hop renders that unimportant. Bitter. Dank. Lightly juicy. Amazing.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours very dark brown/black with a large creamy beige/tan head. Aroma is very coffee. Perhaps a bit less than med body. Flavor is very coffee, smooth dark malt. Almost suggests a lactose note. Not all that undry; very earthy. So coffee that the chocolate takes a bit of thought to parse out. Very pleasing stuff.
