33cl bottle via Secret Santa Winter 2015 pours an opaque black with some frothy, tan head. Nose is straight forward, malt, grain, some creamy oats, licorice, molasses, a little dried fruit.. Everything is in balance. Flavor is sweet with malt and licorice, some chewed gum, molasses, cola, a little pepper and rubber on the back end. Finishes full bodied but mostly dry. Very well balanced.

Pours quite nice reddish amber, not much foam to speak of but still some. Aroma has some Belgian candy sugar, and recognisable prickly vanilla. I admit, I have never really understood dubbels, but I guess this is not a traditional one but with some added twist. Taste is dominated by this vanilla, I am not really sure that I like it but as an experiment, I guess this is not bad, vanilla does blend with that candy sugar character that many Belgian beers have. It is sweet but not too much so, warming and would work as a great winter beer. Unfortunately, in Estonia it was 10 degrees Celsius outside today, so it doesn’t seem like a real winter would come any time soon... Aftertaste lingers bitterly and succumbs into some vanilla-added bitterness. As time passes with this beer, I start liking it more.

Bottle, BB 15.11.2016. Pours brown with huge beige head. The head stays for some time. The aroma is alcohol, sweet, malt, caramel, some carrot like notes. Flavor is very sweet, malt, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, some cocoa powder. Finish is sweet with some alcohol. Overall: ok, got a lot better as it warmed up.

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized beige to light brown head. Aroma and flavor both have malts, a touch of dark fruits, caramel, nuts, toasted malts, rye, lightly a hint of coffee. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks Marduk, 20150721) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had coffee, liquorice and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, coffee, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. The aroma of the beer was nice but the taste was too dominated by the burnt flavours.

Thanks to TimE for sharing the bottle at the tasting! Poured into a taster showing a finger of latte foam and pitch black. The nose shows moderately intense roasted ground coffee. The palate is medium bodied with moderately intense coffee and notes of coffee tartness. Pretty much a standard stout.

Pours dark black, bit of beige head. Aroma has a bit of roast, some sourish notes (from oatmeal), bitter chocolate - loads of it. Taste has some chocolate, cocoa, sweetish and a bit sour as well. Something in there which feels bit artificial. Quite solid imperial stout with unusual oatmeal twist.

Medium dark brown color. Slightly sweet nose right lots of dark chocolate and oatmeal. Just a bit too light body, but very drinkable. Decent stuff but not outstanding.

0,33L bottle (from SIP, Tallinn). Pours dark brown-black with light brown head. The head stays forever. Aroma is sweet, roast, dark chocolate, vanilla, malt. Flavor is sweet, dark and milk chocolate, coffee, malt, fruits, some alcohol. Finish is dark and milk chocolate with some alcohol. Body feels surprisingly light. Overall: well-made brew, but not in the world class yet. tap at pudel. Almost 2 year old sample. Hasn’t really improved that much. Sweeter than i remember, and also covers alcohol bit better. Would get about the same score.
