12oz can. Sweet, artificial, classical Peanut Dark. Flavoring galore...doesn't really taste like peanut..oily grossness that is right next door to their hazelnut crap. Medium bodied. Is what it is.

Thanks Steve!
Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in the glass; finger's worth of tan foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: caramel to toffee notes, warming vanilla character, sweet oak, dark fruits, subtle woody spice, subtle roastiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a sweet to spicy and light roasty tones; finishes with the vanilla, oak and caramel notes
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper!, gentle smoothness along the tongue - nothing sharp, nothing crisp just a great flow across the tongue
Overall: a very nicely done Baltic porter I wish I could acquire again.

Pours a dark brown, verging on black, with mid-sized tan head. Aroma is burnt toast, roasted grain, some holiday spice. Flavors all follow. Clean, crisp mouthfeel.

Sampled from the tap at Milwaukee Burger Company. Pours near black with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a rich peanut butter with slightly dark chocolate backing. Flavor combine peanut butter and chocolate with a bit of roast underlying.

Pleasant aromas of malt, citrus, spice and herbs. A slight hoppy character. Flavors are similar to nose, with good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Finish follows flavors. Pretty good.

old pour from a festival sample. About as simple as it gets, dry, bready malt and mildly bitter hops. --- Beer merged from original tick of Limited Batch American Pale Ale on 27 Dec 2024 at 14:53 - Score: 5
