Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy, as Falter Weihnachts Festbier. Pours classic blonde and transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is honey and malty. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium sweet, but with a little of a candy feeling. Final is average.

Helle, trübe Farbe. Zitronig frisch der Antrunk. Zur typischen Süße gesellen sich herb fruchtige, säuerlich (Milchsäure spielt da mit rein) spritzige Noten. Das Bier kommt nicht ganz so stark raus. Trotzdem ein wirklich gutes Radler. Spritzig, sehr erfrischend und mit ner schönen Aromatik.

Bottle picked up from the brewery in Regen and consumed at home Saturday 22nd October 2022 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music we are cooking Greek Lamb Meatballs, Feta and Tomato Bake for tea tonight. Pours mid gold, excellent clarity with a white head. Another Helles from J.B.Falter that doesn't sit in the traditional Helles mould, it's another with a bite, drying on the finish and without any spare tyres (i.e.no lazy malty belly fat) very, very interesting. Nicely bitter, good bite, fruity, good hoppiness. Good beer.

Bottle picked up from the brewery in Regen and consumed at home Saturday 22nd October 2022 listening to Sprints on Tidal we are cooking Greek Lamb Meatballs, Feta and Tomato Bake for tea tonight. Pours very light gold with a white head that soon diminishes. Nicely bitter with a little spicy hoppiness at the edges. If I were blindfolded I would truly believe that this was a Pilsner, okay it's a little soft and there is a maltiness and whilst dry and not overly crisp, but it appears to straddle the territory between Pils and Helles and for me leans more towards the former which can only be a good thing.

Bottle picked up from Falter brewery in Regen and consumed at home Sunday 16th October 2022 listening to Gabriels - Angels and Queens Part 1. Pours warm gold with a clean white head. Some sweeteness, malty but there is a little bitterness trying to creep through, soft moutheel. A touch minerally actually metallic on the back end. First beer since COVID and enjoying but will sip.

Bottle picked up from brewery at Regen, sat in Frank at Klein Camping Aberblick, Reichertsried Bavarian National Park Thursday 13th October 2022. Pours hazy mid brown with an off white head. Soft moutheel, a little fruity, sort of plum skins but sweetened, perhaps there is a little banana. Quite good.

Bottle at Edeka Café, Kirchberg im Wald, Thursday 13th October 2022, 90% of the way through a 15-16km hike. Pours clear gold with a white head, excellent clarity, dry finish, nice bitter bite. Decent Pils.
