Can shared by John, thanks! Pours a clear amber with a light brown hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bread and rye with a bit of grain and earthiness underlying. Flavor has a good amount of rye with some bread, light grain and a bit of thin finish.

Appearances are a very short lived fizzy head that gives way to some odd looking orange clumps that soon disappear and some yellowish white clumps on top of a yellowish orange liquid. Aromas are very aromatic fruit - mango and guava with some spice and floral. Flavors are similar to nose but not quite as good. Tart with a bit of sweet in back. Okay body and carbonation. Finish follows flavors. Maybe the best of the Starkellers that I have had.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 9/1/23. Clear gold large white head, average retention. Aroma of earth, pine, pale malt. Taste is mango, tropical fruit, bit of pine, pale malt. Low bitterness. They say west coast, but, not really. Solid.

Tap at DU. Surprisingly not in there, maybe in the backlog. A little sweet, hefty for the style. Not much balance, distant minimal hop tone. Cheap ingredients, but competent brewing. OK.
