Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - murky orange. White head. Nose - orange, light sherbet (but not for the wrong reason) and sweet malt. Taste - loads of orange and a little peach. Underlay of cake. Palate - creamy texture, light body. Balanced finish. Overall - good.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow to brown. Smow white head. Nose - orange and green grape. Taste - tinned orange or grapefruit. Pith follows it in. Palate - light bodied, nice balanced bitterness. Overall - very nice.

Can from Cork & Cask. Murky bronze body with a few small chunks beneath a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and grapefruit. Flavour of minerals, grapefruit and a steely finish. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Clean and easy to drink. Very nice.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep dark black with a light brown head. Aroma is spicy, light fruity, rich malts. Taste is berry blast which was somewhat hidden in the nose, chocolate, nutty, malty.

Crowler from BD Inverurie. It pours opaque darkest brown to black with a thick, rugged light tan head. The aroma starts with rich roasted malt, toasted malts, charry, salty, lovely fresh raspberry, chocolate, cookie dough, touch of vanilla, toffee, nougat and rocky road. The taste is dry and bitter initially, bitter& sweet, rich roasted malt, light umami, mellow raspberry, cacao, dark chocolate, cookie dough, rocky road, spice, burnt toast, toasted brown sugars, underlying vanilla and nougat with a lick of alcohol towards the finish. Medium to Full body and moderate carbonation. Rich and flavourful. Works well.
