Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - dark brown with an off white head. Nose - fruit cake, wood, dried orange. Taste - chocolate limes, wood and booze dominate. General fruit cake thing still there though. Palate - rich and full bodied. Long gentle tapering. Overall - lovely beer.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear red-brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of coconut, toffee, dried mixed peel. Taste is bourbon, coconut, caramel, more dried fruit. Nicely done.

Can from BrewDog Lothian Road. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of tinned orange and peach. Flavour of lemon jelly and lemongrass. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Juicy and easy to drink.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy, golden orange. Big fluffy head. Nose - a touch of resin, but generally peach and orange. Some dank dishcloth. Taste - canned peach and pear. Fruit salad thing going on. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. Dry, balanced finish. Overall - good.

On keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - amber with a thin head. Nose - green beans, hop spice and a hint of tomato stalk. Brown bread. Taste - bread again with green herb bitterness. Palate - light bodied, long and dry. Overall - I figured this was more Pilsner than Keller, hence the style loaded. And a good example of that style.
