[Cask at Volunteers Arms at GBBF 2004] An opaque brown beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted and malty, and so is the flavor.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] An orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of hay. The flavor is sweet with some cask-flatness to it, but also notes of oranges and hops.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms GBBF 2004] The aroma is malty with notes of caramel. The color is brown and it has no head. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted bread, grain, and caramel.

Sampled cask conditioned. Copper coloured. Flowery, pronounced hop aroma. Medium- to full bodied, malty and fruity with hints of prunes. Medium bitterness. Complex and tasty.

Sampled cask conditioned. Golden coloured. Fruity, grassy aroma. Light bodied, sweetish. Plain, buth with pleasant, slighly salty, spicy finish. A smooth, drinkable cask ale.

Sampled cask conditioned. Golden coloured (big surprise there...). Aroma of green apples. Sweet and thin with unpleasant apple flavour. Fatty finish. I'm afraid this was one of the least tasty cask ales I've come across. Bad batch?
