Description
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.

A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.

Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.

Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

Keg at Shilling Brew Co. It pours hazy boodne with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, bready, sponge cake, biscuit, biscotti and almond The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, quite Sharp, grassy, toasty grains, orchard fruits, woody and some citrus peel. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. I'm not quite sure the balance is there, but it has decent elements to it.

440ml can from Oak Tree Inn, Balmaha - Cloudy orange body, with a thick white top. Sweetish orangey citrus vibe, heavier on the yeast than expected, really lush mouthful emphasises the flavours and long bitter finish.
