Description
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.

A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.

Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.

Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - very pale yellow with a very slight haze and a fluffy snow white head.
Nose - delicate floral and lemon.
Taste - light bread, floral and citrus again.
Palate - light bodied, dry finish.
Overall - good example of how the style can work well!

A Burns Week ale, and Haggis for me for dinner in a few days time too! It's a pretty standard golden ale, but done well and very sessionable - what association this style has to do with the Scot I am not sure. Nice and hoppy.

Can at Prince Arthur, Fleet. Hazy pale gold. Foamy white head. Aroma has sweet citrus and a light resinous edge. Flavourwise it's similar. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough.
