We are Pomona Island. We have a passion for innovation and style. We wake up each morning and strive each day to create te finest beers on the... Nah, can you imagine if we actually spoke like that? We're just beer snobs and over-appreciators who thought we would put our (small amount of) money where our (big) mouths are.

The Brewery is Nick and Ryan, who started the Gas Lamp bar in Manchester CIty Centre (where you can always find our beers!), Gaz from Marble Brewery and James from Tempest Brewery.

The beer is all stuff we like to drink. Loads of sessionable new world hoppy pales, more traditional stouts and porters. Big Juicy IPAs, and some fun experimental stuff to keep us and you interested.

440ml can from Tipplers, Bewdley. Pours misty yellow, large pure white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, yeasty. Smooth textures, fruity with curious love hearts sherbet on the finish. Nice balance to it. Decent.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Tap Room, Bethnal Green, London, 26 July 2019) Amber colcour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, crisp-bread and orange peel. Malty, hoppy taste with crisp-bread, citrus, orange peel, pink grapefruit, caramel and a balanced citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Can. Hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Smooth soft airy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy creamy malts. Nicely savoury with well integrated and tangy fruits, lemon and then a generic tropical tang. Maybe a little ripe pineapple but can’t pick Guava out. It matters not, a pleasingly fruity and savoury Gose, vibrant and drinkable.

Can shared at columbus tasting 09/10/2019. Many Thanks! A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is soft bready grains, wheat, orange rind, dill, decent. Flavour is composed of bready, wheat, orange, mellow sorachi, dill, hint of coconut. Lingering pithy lemon in the finish. Palate is soft and frothy, light tang, some grainy. Good stuff.

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Hazy golden-amber with a small head. It's a bland hoppy ale (although the 3rd in a row in Cafe Beermoth that didn't taste tip-top). There's some fruitiness in its aroma.

Keg @ København, Halifax. Golden with a mild haze and a creamy-bubbly head. A low carbonation compliments a pleasantly hoppy first texture and taste. A hint of fruit is secondary.
