Bottle at the rental flat in Sofia - picked up from Dissident. Pours crystal clear pale yellow with a fluffy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with notes of white bread, pale biscuits, cereal flakes, slight bitter straw. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, more fresh pale biscuits, a little hay, straw. Very drinkable stuff.

Schöne orange Farbe. Süße Früchte in der Nase. Auch geschmacklich spielen frische und (vor allem) gekochte Früchte die Hauptrolle. Außerdem etwas kerniges Getreide und ganz milde florale Nuancen. Nach 2 - 3 Schlucken kommt auch ein Hauch von Dunkelmalz durch. Hopfung sehr dezent. Ein bisschen mehr wäre aber gar nicht schlecht, um einen Gegenpol zur recht süßen Auslegung dieses Biers zu bringen. Schön sämiges Mundgefühl. Man meint fast jede Hefeschliere beim Schlucken zu spüren. Hätte Ansätze zu einem Spitzenweizen - müsste dazu aber etwas vielschichtiger und harmonischer sein. In Summe aber ein echt gutes Weißbier.

Tap at Sheridan's. Clear golden body, white head. Flowery, lightly herbal aroma, sweetish, some herbal maltiness, some caramel touches. Sweet malty taste, but full, vaguely flowery, too sweet, eggy, mleh. Okay.

Dark brown. Aroma is dried fruit cherry and cranberry with some raisin and melasses. Taste is sweet melasses with some roast. Chestnut in the finish. Pretty earthy. Rich body. Nice.

250ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy, pale malty aroma with a touch of maize, minimally soapy, hoppy overtones. Taste is bitter, grassy, minimally soapy hoppy, minimally spicy, pale malty basis with a minimally strawy touch, a mineral touch as well. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly drinkable and refreshing - OK.
