Description

Light brown colour with a reddish hue. Aroma and flavour have a nice berry sweetness. There's also a tart and bitter element too. The base (lager) seems rather buttery which is a detraction to the fruit element.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before February 2023. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity, aroma of caramel, nuts, honey and some citrus. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity, a little soapy taste of caramel, nuts, lemon and honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Huh? Where's the smoke?

--Bottled, from Die Bierothek. -- Clear amber, small head. Faint somwhat medicinal smoke up front. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Grain and mild smoke, notes of vegetables. Low bitterness. Modernistic and sketchy.

Dark copper colour. Aroma is malty but also earthy. Nutty toasted malt and a touch of caramel against earthy and quite bitter rosemary. Intense and interesting.

Updated rating from bottle 3.2: Aroma has faint basil and aniseed. It's a bit wishy-washy though. Bitterness in the finish helps. Original rating from tap serve at brewery: 3.6 - Pale yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have strong notes of basil. Still a good, rounded hop bitterness makes it easy to drink.

Blondish colour with a slight pinkish blush. Raspberries mix in nicely with a bitter pils-like beer.
