Description

Clear chestnut, fluffy golden cream. Honeryroast and herbal flowery aroma, Medium full dry caramel foam, fairly carbonated. Sugar glazed nuts, pleasant hop aromatics, light oxidized note. Pretty neat once you burp the beer.

Bottle: Copper coloured, almost clear, huge loose dirty head, that slowly collapses, distinctive sweet-bitter aroma of dark malt and caramel, fruity background, delicate herbal hops underneath; moderate to solid sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering and slightly drier caramelly and herbal hoppy finish. Chapeau! A pretty decent Doppelbock...

0.33 l bottle from 'Holy Craft Beer Store', 7.5% abv, best before December 2022. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, gently floral aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and gooseberry. Gently sweet, very fruity, slightly floral taste of marmalade, pineapple, gooseberry and pomelo, followed by a medium long, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice DIPA, lovely fruity and well-balanced.
