Had this on tap at Braukunst Bier Festival, München Live, Friday 31st January 2020 in the company of Dominic and Vera (Dranken Geers, Oostaker) and Ursula. Pours hazy in fact cloudy yellowy colour with a white head, it is indeed a mega Weizenbock a touch creamy a little bannoffee pie, fruity, it's quite good.

Bottle from the Brewers. Dark brown, almost black, great lasting head. Toffee nut cookies on the nose, malty goodness. Flavor is medium sweet, Umami packed without being too soy, light chocolate malt and cara explosion, roasty notes fading to a smooth bitterness. Best beer I've had from Hausfreund!

Bottle. Reddish amber, light haze with a huge creamy head. Caramel nose, a bit sweet on the tongue with spicy hop zest at the end. A bit more on the cara side of the force compared to most Munich Oktoberfest beers, but I like it. Almost like a less roasty Dunkles.

Bottle. Golden straw, light haze, good head, spicy nose with a hint of grain. Great flavor, full body with a good dose of smooth bitterness at the end. Not overly sweet as some Helles can be.

Sampled @ Craft Bier Messe Mainz 2019. A clear amber beer with a white head. Aroma of mild caramelized malt, grains. Taste of caramelized malt, mild bitter fruity hops, grains, okay.
