Taster from bottle at ABC Awards, Ried im Innkreis. Amber hazy color, small white head. Smells pines, Marzipan, earthy, spices. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes pines, Marzipan, spices, tobacco. Finishes light to medium sweet with notes of tobacco, spices and pines. Good one, rather malty, more like a barley wine

Trübes golden-orangefarbenes Bier; cremig-dichte Schaumkrone. In der Nase einerseits intensive exotische Früchte, vor allem frische Mango, dazu gibt eine kräutrige Würzigkeit einen guten Kontrast. Im Geschmack schlank, relativ trocken, deutlich weniger aromatisch als erwartet, etwas Mango und Zitrusschalen, präsente aber nicht allzu intensive Hopfenbittere, deutliche Säure.

Bottle. Pours deep copper with white head. Nose is apricot jam, booze, biscuity malts, piney hops. Taste is sweet first, boozy and malty, then some piney and fruity hops appear and these last quite long in the finish, with some additional sweet booze again. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Actually nice and dank, quite pleasant.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo e ananas.

From tap at The Brickmakers Ale & Cider House, Wien. Aroma of malt, caramel, vinegar, grapes, sour red fruits. Flavour is medium sour. Body is also medium. A bit on the malty caramel side but has a nice sourness to it.

At the Super Bier Fest. Hazy brownish-golden body. Resin and wormwood in the aroma. Dry taste, caramelly, resin, ending with a rough herbal bitterness. Old school, but also gone and hard to drink. Urgh...
