Bottle from Vienna Airport Well, how should one take this... When I spotted Manners logo I was looking forward to explosion of flavors, cookies, chocolate and all sweet. And reality? It's not bad, but the voltage and style is offering soooo many possibilities and I think none was taken. It's just empty. You drink it, yeah, fine, but that's it, nothing to offer. My better half would probably say something like fizzy black water with alcohol. btw Austrian brewery no.44

0,33l from bottle at Ottakringer Braukulturwochen. Amber clear color, small white head. Smells of marzipan, nutty, ripe fruits, spices, peppery, light chlorophyl. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes ripe fruits, marzipan, nutty, spices, caramel, honey, peppery, lightly earthy. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of marzipan, nutty and ripe fruits. Pretty nice, lightly boozy and almost a bit on the sweet side, could use some more complexity.

Bottle, many thanks Geiserich! Rather clear copper color with nice white head. Aroma is ethereal citrus peel, bergamot, fruity hops, resinous, toasted malts. Taste is bergamot bitterness, toasted malts, pleasant fruity hops, a bit earthy. Ethereal bergamot bitterness in the finish. Oily mouthfeel, rather full-bodied, with soft carbonation. A pleasant surprise!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lacing, white head. Nose has a little orange notes. Medium body, little grainy malt bill before a bitter finish. Seems more like an overly hopped Lager. 290518

Tap at vienna airport. Pours hazy golden. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus. Flavor is sweet and very dry bitter, fruits, grapefruit. Overall: ok, but bit harsh.
