Flasche am Flughafen in Wien gekauft. Oranger trüber Körper mit mäßiger Schaumbildung. Sehr fruchtiges Aroma, Zitrus, Grapefruit, tropische Früchte,Hopfen. Fruchtig auch im Geschmack, Zitrus, Malz, Hopfen. Angenehm bitter, insgesamt gut aber nicht hochklassig.

33cl bottle from a trade with herrklemann, thanks! A dark reddish brown beer with a mid-sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of cookies, vanilla, sugar, waffles, nuts. Taste of vanilla, caramel, hazelnuts, some anis, cinnamon, waffles, absolutely awesome!!

Bit unclear, red colored, medium creamy beige head, OK lasting. Aroma is of malt, candy caramel and fruity, some vinous notes, light soury. Taste is medium sweet malt, candy caramel fruit, vinous, bit bready yeasty, medium sourness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Not all that bad. (bottle)

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Opaque dark brown color with tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate. Taste is vanilla, sugar coating, indeed a touch waffles, a touch hazelnuts. Silky mouthfeel with medium to high carbonation. A bit disappointing considering the ingredients, it doesn't add enough terroir to the pastry stout style.

Black colored, small+ creamy tan head, not too lasting. Aroma is of dark chocolate, some roasted notes, bit milky, quite yeasty notes, some fruity esters. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, dark and milky chocolate, some roast notes, light nuts, yeast, fruity esters, medium roasty bitterness, bit herbal hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. Not very appealing, yeasty and unbalanced mess... (bottle)

Wer braucht schon Schnee für echten Winterzauber, wenn man sich doch mit einer gemeinsamen Schnittenfahrt die frostige Jahreszeit versüßen kann? Harmonische Klänge von Schokolade, dunklem Malz, Haselnuss und einem Hauch von Vanille zaubern kräftige Stout-Aromen und den traditionellen Mannerschnitten-Geschmack auf den vor Freude springenden Gaumen!, titelt das Etikett. Dasss es sich um ein gutes, etwas spezielles, Stout handelt, kann ich gerne unterschreiben. Einzig das Schnittenaroma könnte ein bisschen präsenter sein. Trotzdem ein feines Bier, das man gerne trinken kann.

0.33l bottle from Beerlovers, Wien. Clear, red brown beer with quickly vanishing head. Aroma has sweet berries. Taste has red berries and sourness. Medium, sweet body. Nice, not too sour.

0,33l bottle at home bought from Beerlovers Vienna. Bottled 28.09.2017. BB 28.09.2018. almost black color, small tan head. smells earthy, acidic, grassy, marzipan, lightly nutty, tobacco. ok smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes peppery, grassy, earth, light vanilla, tobacco, lightly nutty, a bit on the green herbal side, chlorophyl. finishes lightly dry with notes of nuts, tobacco and green herbal notes. I was really looking forward to this, but unfortunatly ... not a fan of the balance, tastes more like a Doppelbock, not really anything close to an Imperial Stout. tastes rather green herbal / tobaccoish. its drinkable, but could be so much better.
