Bottle at online tasting, Beermalade. Copper color with light beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel and citrus hops. Taste is mainly caramelly with moderate citrus hops. Not bad, but could be more balanced.

Bottle at tasting via Beermalade. Orange color with medium white head. malty aroma, with citrus hops. Taste starts malty overlapped by citrus hoppy bitterness, zest, pines. Not NEIPA, but enjoyable beer.

Optisch satt goldgelb bis hellbernsteinfarben mit einer leichten Trübung. Es lassen sich auch deutlich gröbere Trübstoffpartikel erkennen. Die weiße, mittelporige Schaumkrone zeigt sich sehr stabil und auch sehr gut haltbar. Im Duft sehr typisch, leicht süßlich, kräuterartig und exotisch fruchtig. Ebenso ein guter Hauch von Wurzelgemüse. Den Start macht ein spritzig-herber Antrunk. Auch im Mittelteil dominieren die herben Noten in ausgeprägtem Maße. Leicht süßlich-fruchtige, exotische, kräuterartige und röstig wirkende Nuancen untermalen diese Herbe. Den Körper darf man als mäßig bis gut beurteilen und die Süffigkeit passt ganz gut. Im Abgang flacht die Aromatik ziemlich rasch ab und bleibt neben der grasigen Herbe nur mehr hintergründig wahrnehmbar. Ein wirklich gutes Session IPA, welches man absolut empfehlen kann.

getrunken beim Ottakringer Bierfest im Sommer 2021 Ein IPA, das mit Uhudlertrauben gebraut wurde und in Richtung fruchtiges Sauerbier geht. Als solches ist es an einem warme Sommerabend natürlich wirklich gut zu trinken. Allerdings ist es mir zu bitter und die Hybridform von IPA und Sauerbier ist nicht allzu harmonisch.
