Description
Stopped brewing in autmn 2023, beers brewed by owner Einbecker since then.

The current brewing factory in Peine has been associated with the name Härke since 1890. At that time Ernst Härke bought the former Rauls'sche brewery and gave it its name in 1907. The headquarters are located in a listed building right in the heart of Peine. Thanks to ongoing investments, the brewing site houses a state-of-the-art brewery. As always, it draws the water for production from its own deep well.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Discreet aroma of grainy malt and a tinge of grassy and herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Initially sweet malty taste with shy grainy accents and an almost restrained (grassy) hops character for a Pils from that part of Germany; moderately dry sweet-bitter and slightly grassy hoppy finish. Drinkable, mediocre. 28.VI.11
