Description
Stopped brewing in autmn 2023, beers brewed by owner Einbecker since then.
The current brewing factory in Peine has been associated with the name Härke since 1890. At that time Ernst Härke bought the former Rauls'sche brewery and gave it its name in 1907. The headquarters are located in a listed building right in the heart of Peine. Thanks to ongoing investments, the brewing site houses a state-of-the-art brewery. As always, it draws the water for production from its own deep well.

Bottle: Golden coloured, mid-sized stable head, visible carbonation; grainy nose with a metallic-hoppy touch; soft MF, light bodied, quite dry bitter flavour and dry bitter finish. Yawn, a typical boring and clean german Pils.......

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized blond foam, leaving some lace. Sweet malty, grainy nose with herbal, slightly grassy hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Initially short malty with herbal notes; dry and hop bitter finish. Typical Pilsener from northern Germany. Clean but also a bit bland and boring.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Lightly malty nose. Medium body with lightly malty accents and a dry finish. Not much excitement here. 151206

A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with light notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of grass, leading to a very refreshing hoppy end combined with a light bitterness.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, brown beer with a handsome, dense and very stable head. A classic Dunkel with lots of roasted malt and an underlying sweetness. Not much bitterness, but just enough for balance. A very harmonious brew. 100402

(Bottle 33 cl) Cloudy golden with a rocky yeast sediment that turns the beer murky grey when stirred. Soft and mellow more dominated by malt than hops. Fresh and highly drinkable. 030402

(Bottle 33 cl) Golden pilsener with a decent, white head. Classical North-German meaning excessively bitter - almost killing my tastebuds. On the other hand it comes with some unusual but intriguing citrusy notes. 030201

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. The nose is malty but also with quite some grassy hops. Medium body, solid sweet malts and a hint of metal. Flowery and fairly bitter finish. A very decent offering. 010910
Bottle 33 cl Pilsener golden with a decent head. I don’t get the bitter hop-bite I’d expected. Instead I find a very dry and quenching beer. Unfortunately I also get an odd off flavour of cardboard. 4/2/4/2/8= 2.0 181100

(Bottle 33 cl) Classical German pilsener - at least in the way they’re made up North. Neatly golden with a fine, white head. Malty all right, but the bitter hops completely dominate this. No refined hoppy aroma, just plain, sharp bitterness. Not for my liking really. 111000

Bottle. Nice wheat malt aroma with light hops. Dark yellow color with small head. Creamy malt with moderate bitter hops finish - high acidity and carbonation. A nice even pils.
