Fläschla: Pale yellow coloured, hazy, creamy and stable white head; sweetish-worty nose, some spots of resiny hops in the background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, soft and not watery; slightly lingering worty and bitter finish. Well, not the worst low alcohol "Bier"...

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Fresh banana-fruity aroma with present wheaty notes and yeasty spice; mildly clovy accents stay in the background. Slightly sweet and delicately sour flavour, light bodied with a moderately prickly carbonation. Slim malty and wheaty base with mineralic notes, banana and hints of cloves; slim finish with a slightly level of sourness. Clean and technically well-made but also really watery. 05.VI.18

(draught at the Bräuschänke) Clear, golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Flowery hoppy and slightly citric aroma with delicately doughy malty notes. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied but not watery with a crisp carbonation. Dry and slightly doughy malty taste with hints of white bread, accompanied by citric and slightly flowery and spicy hops; moderately hop bitter finish with marked citrus-fruity flavours. 500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Floral hoppy and doughy yeasty, minimally spicy, malty aroma. Taste is sweet-ish malty, minimally doughy and spicy yeasty, floral hoppy overtones. Has the doughy character of an old school Low alcohol brew.

"Kitzmann Echtes Erlanger Bergkirchweihbier", Flasche (50 cl) von Fristo, Ansbach. - Braungold, blank. - In der Nase kernig karamelliges Toastmalz, milde alkoholische Wärme, leichte herb-fruchtige Hopfennoten. - Antrunk füllig toastmalzig mit bitterem Honig, Toastbrot und recht ruppiger Orangenschalen-Hopfenherbe. Mäßig süß. Milder rezent, vollmundig, glatt, deutlich alkoholisch. Im Abgang sehr derbe Bittere, bei der der Hopfenextrakt herausschmeckt, Zitrusfrucht und Anklänge an grüne Äpfel. - Klassisches Festbier, breit malzig aber aromatisch wenig anspruchsvoll und von derber Bittere; in erster Linie dazu gedacht, sich zügig in Festlaune zu trinken. Geht so.

500ml Bottle - Hazy dark amber/light brown. Banana, caramel and sultanas in the aroma. Banana, caramel, marmalade and sultanas all feature in the slightly tangy taste. An enjoyable weizen bock.
