25/9/2025. Tap at The Freston Boot. Decent clear golden amber/orange pour with a lasting head. Aroma is grassy, malty, flowery, leafy, citrusy, orange, touch of caramel. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Lingering bitterness comes through to finish. Quite likeable.

Keg at Oakea Barn, Bury St Edmunds. Aroma had a whiff of citrus, alongside malts and a metallic edge. All somewhat muted though. Clear light gold. Thick foamy white head. Flavourwise it's a damp squib. Some citra citrus sourness. Malts. A metallic edge. But all rather watered down. Thin. Light. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Rubbish stuff.

Keg @ Old Wellington, Manchester. Clear golden with a thin head and a small carbonation. Mainly a lager although there are pale ale notes in here that create a small smoothness in its texture. Easy drinking for its strength.

Keg at the Taphouse in Maldon.
Pretty much the same as I had nearly 10 years ago in Nicholsons but I am a bit less harsh these days. Good ripe lemony orange, crisp pine, a decent pale malt richness. Crisp finish. What's not to like?
