Ich habe gedacht, dass es diese Brauerei noch gibt, aber offensichtlich konnte man sich doch bewähren. Es is wahrscheinlich praktisch, wenn man neben dem berühmten Schloss Laxenburg braut. Das Alex ist ein gemütliches Pale Ale, das sich wirklich angenehm trinken lässt, ohne zu überfordern. Nicht allzu tiefgründig, aber doch voll ok.

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Med-thin body, medium carbonation (lots was lost during pour). Assertive banana esters, rather background phenols - feels off-balance in this respect. Medium sweetness, light spiciness. Drinkable, good, but not great.

Tap at Wiener Beerfest. Hazy orange yellow with huge white head. Aroma of banana, light clove, wheat. Taste is wheat, banana, light clove, yeast. Good.

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Med-high bitterness, med-light sweetness. Med-light caramelly maltiness, med-high citrusy, resiny, a bit grassy hops character. A bit too malty and caramelly for my liking, but good still.

Tap at Wiener beerfest. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of oefrumed malt, touch of hops. Taste starts malty, followed by nice hoppy bitterness. Good.

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Substantial bready, toasted and grainy maltiness. Overall rather malty than hoppy, surprisingly. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Feels a bit oxidized too. Hops character is really absent, maybe a bit of earthy grassy. Drinkable, good, just a bit different from expectations.

Eingetrübte goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, grasiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hopfig, grasig, malzig, leicht getreidig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
