Bottle from LambicZoon. Pours hazy orange with a brief, white head. Pretty barnyardy aroma with oak, candied orange zest, preserved lemons and grass. Taste is slightly tart with citrus, straw and a bit of wet oak. Well balanced and mild flavor. Slightly dry and easy to drink. Good one!

C: Small white rim over very well-carbonated pale orange-golden beer. 4/5 N ; Nice citric-horseblanket nose, bit of horse manure, dandelion, old lambic, wood. 9/10 T: Citric flavour, lemon, horseblanket. Finish is a tad empty, petering down to just some lacti acid. 8/10 MF: Good carbonated feel, if visually flat. Slick, acidthinning, even dry-out effect. 3/5 O: Outstanding for a first try (and not even old enough at that). Though the moniker ‘Oude gueuze” ought not to be used for a gueuze not containing 3 yr old lambic, and hardly achieving the weighed average. 16/20 Txs to M & L!

Bottle shared at kermis' birthday. Hazy light golden with short lasting white head. Lots of vanilla, some lemon, soft grains, Brett, light peach, soft bread, light herbs. Medium sour and light sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. Not bad at all.

From bottle at kermis’s b-day tasting at Kwartje. Hazy golden with no head. Sour grains, hay, brett, steel. Moderate sweet and and sour. Medium to light body and low carbonation. Grassy, dry, sessionable but light and watery, not very complex.

Sampled at Chris' birthday share. Hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Notes of brett, citrus, aspirin, tart unripe grapes. It has a very fresh feeling to it, clean and crisp, not much funk going on, but quite nice.

Sampled thanks to Kurt @ Belgium in a Box. Hazy yellow golden color, small white head. Aroma is quite citrussy. Flavor is citrussy and balanced sour-tart. I like it, not the sharp sourness you sometimes get. Well done.
