500 ml bottle. Almost clear amber with a creamy head. Stone fruit, sourdough, grain, slightly smoked Bavarian juniper ham, peach, lemon zest, slightly metallic, grassy resinous hops, cured dried ham. Dry zesty bitterness, fruity sweetness, smoky umami, even salty. Medium bodied, oilky silky texture, soft carbonated, dry smoky zesty fruity bittersweet umami finish. Excellent Rauchbier, subtle, elegant, tasty!

Bottle from biershop Bayern. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose is malty with nice smoky notes. Sweet, malty, Rauch, some fruitiness. Great!

500 ml bottle. Cloudy amber with a foamy head. Nuts, lemon zest, DMS, caramel, basement notes, sourdough, malt, wood. Dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter rustic finish. Quite a good, crisp Franconian Kellerbier.

Wagner-Bräu Kemmern Festbier, 5,5 %, Flasche (MHD: 23.02.24) von den Getränkerittern. - Satt goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase strenge, leicht muffige Noten. - Antrunk sortentypisch satt gerstig-hellmalzig mit feiner Honigsüße, die aber von kräftiger, ja derber orangenschalig-krautiger Hopfung erschlagen wird. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang derbe, leicht ranzige Bittere. - Ruppiges Festbier mit vulgärer Bittere, kein Vergleich mit dem Camerin Festbier, das ich 2018 getrunken habe. Was mag hier schiefgelaufen sein? (9.9.2023.)

From the Hol-Ab in Elsfleth. More orange than amber with a frothy, white head. Grainy, herbal aroma. Taste is crisply bitter with a faintly tart undertone. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation. Refreshing, clean feel. Good.

Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, biscuit malt, hay, straw, grass, hops bitter, crispy hops, medium dry.
