Description
Horus Aged Ales is a 100% barrel aged brewery located in Oceanside, California. We believe in pushing the boundaries on how much beer can evolve through resting in oak by using a variety of different wine and spirit barrels, adding exotic fruits, and fermenting spontaneously. The complexity of the beer portrays our passion for experimentation and patience required to produce such a unique beverage. Horus has been a decade long dream that is finally coming true and we look forward to introducing our exclusive beer to the fine people of San Diego County.

375ml bottle. Intense with barrel notes, sweet syrup, vanilla, oak, bourbon, wood and chocolate, hints of stingy warming alcohol. A bit less complex and balanced than Forager Riffs and Filters.

Hazelnut overload. Syrupy texture, sweetness. They should’ve named this Another Lie, since birds aren’t real. Made some chicken of the cave and rice for tomorrow’s lunch. Stout Sunday was moved to today due to unforeseen circumstances. Thanks TQ! 🐦 🦅

7/VI/22 - 1Pt 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home, BB: n/a (2022-675) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy but mainly rather clear dark brown beer, practically no head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, lots of chocolate, good roast, hazelnuts indeed, coffee. MF: practically no carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, good roast up front, very gustary and sweet, caramel notes, vanilla, some chocolate, alcohol noticeable, nice stuff! Aftertaste: good roast, sweet, caramel, malty, vanilla notes, lots of alcohol, nice one! Could’ve used some more carbonation and a bit less alcohol, but very nice aroma and flavour profile!
