Tap at HopDog. Clear amber. Caramel malt, melathingens, cream, metallic nose. Chewy, soft, full fluffy, slightly bubblegum, bread, metallic, grainy, a hint of smoke. And sticky aftertaste. - Hu, sticky is actually quite ok if it is butter sticky. Which it is.

April 23: BB 12/06-23. (3,4 rating) Bottle found in Bavaria. Pours amber copper with a small creamy White head. Sweet nose and flavor. Honey dew, rustic yeast and a tiny hint of butterscotch and iron which prevents it from being really good. Slightly sharp and boozy. A lot of potential but like most of their other beers ive had not entirely clean. Sticky and oily. 2 months old January 24: Guldøl vibe. Plenty og malty toasted bread and grains. Warning alcohol. Chewy. Slightly heavy and in lack of a fresh dose of hops appearing to be really good. (3,7) November 25. Close after Bock Anstich. In the brewery. Tap. Sultanas, honeydew and bit of warmth from alcohol. Reminds me a bit of hohn Memmelsdorf. 6.9-7.9. (3.9)

500 ml tap. Amber cloudy with a creamy head. Buttery, vanilla, hazelnut, wood, raisins, caramel, citrus notes, basement notes, grassy hops. Mild dryness, some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty bitter finish. Very nice, very balanced, very Franconian.

Bottle @ Oberfranken. Pours copper with a small white head. Rustic and yeasty with a lot of rye-bread and nuts. Very promising but had a DMS issue. Cooked vegetables. Such a shame. Best before date was in 3 weeks, so probably not a fresh bottle.
