Kaiser Ur-Trunk 1783, Flasche von REWE, Burgebrach. - Dunkles Rotgoldbraun, schwach trüb. - In der Nase appetitlich toastiges Malz, typisch fränkische hopfenwürzige Herbe, Anklänge an Moos. - Antrunk kernig gerstig toastmalzig mit Brotkruste, dezenter karamelliger Süße und fein orangenfruchtiger, vor allem aber solide hopfenwürzig-herbaler Herbe. Milder rezent, leicht trocken. Im Abgang schöne kellerige Anklänge an Holz und Moos. - Erstklassiges Frankenlager mit kernig gerstigem Malz und solider, vielschichtiger aber nicht übertriebener Hopfung. (6.8.2021.)

Bottle. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is honey, malts, a touch papery and quite fruity, turkish delight. Taste is honey, caramel, a bit warming finish. Oily mouthfeel with low and soft carbonation, chewy. Nice Bock!

500ml Bottle - Light amber in colour. Bready and malty aroma with notes of rye and sultanas. Malty and slightly sweet taste with notes of sultanas, dried apricot, caramel and bread.

Small frothy head. Flowery vanilla aroma. Slightly hoppy, malty, flowery flavor with a touch of vanilla. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Lovely, well balanced soft pilsener, can be compared with the best Czech pilseners.

Creamy head, a bit darker as an average weizenbier. Chalk and grape juice in the aroma. Grape juice flavor, maybe a bit citric. Milky and cheesy. Soft, friendly and well balanced weissbier.

(bottle) Hazy, dark amber colour with a big and loose off-white foamy head. Slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel and spicy hops in the background. Moderately bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly nutty taste with notes of caramel and toasted grains; mildly spicy hoppy notes tune in towards the bitter-sweet finish. Good. 01.VII.18
