2019 bottle. Beautiful cloudy deep golden color with white head. Aroma is super aromatic big apples, sweet and mineraly at the same time. Taste is brown apple, mild oxidation that works, earthy, dash of leather, super bone dry finish, mouthful of minerals. Super foamy carbonation. Excellent stuff!

750ml bottle from Goblin Wines, Marrickville. Orangey tinged red amber colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top, and aroma of apple, grape, funk. Taste is tangy, tart, appley, red wine, oaky, with farmyard funk and drying earthy tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying tart & tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

12oz single from Astoria Wines. Low-ball at my BnB. Big fizzy pour. Dull honey gold. Mellow floral & cheesy funk initially, which quickly evaporates. Nose settles into a sweet, minerally, earthy, old leather jacket zone. Rounded, classy bittersweet apples, honey laced, a twinge of citrus & a tiny touch of creme. Fizzy, soft, constant carb. Slight added body, middling acid with a gentle tartness. Very good.

750 from Astor Wines. Pint glass back in old LIC. Clear, lemon iced tea pour, nice cascade, some activity, no head. Old oak, cedar-like spice, lemon, well aged & mellow bittersweet cider nose. Taste is a bit quiet. Soft & supple, drying tannins, lemon tea, sweet & thin apple butter sweetness, very light tartness on the finish. Low CO2, super thin, a little watered down. It's okay, it's fine, just not amazing like Zangs usually is. The price sucks.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Slight hazy golden. Crisp and fruity with apple, orange and rose. Light funky, leathery, mineral dry cellar notes. Just medium sweet and light tart. Very crisp and bright body, solid medium dry. Great.

750ml bottle. Golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of ripe apple, fruity, caramel, alittle funk. Taste is tangy, tart, ripe red apple, core & skin, with some zingy acidity and drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml bottle from Buon Vino. 2019 Vintage. Orangey gold colour, big foamy off-white head that rapidly dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruity, orchardy funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, earthy, orchardy, leather, funky, with some tartness, and drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonatio, dry tangy tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
