Cask at Beatnikz, shared with the crew. A pretty easy-to-drink, slighlty citrusy and somewhat resinous pale ale, nice thirst quencher. The hops used are nicely highlighted here.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 months before BBE. Murky fairly dark purple with small rather fizzy pink tinged head. Fruity aroma of tart berries and grape, light malts. Grape is more dominate in the flavour with a berry tartness coming through in the light drying finish. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Its ok, decent fruitiness but lacks depth.

Can from Micro Beer Crate, online. Pours near jet black, moderate sized tanned head Aroma of sweet roasted malts and brown sugar, sour berries and a sprinkle of cacao. Sweet roasted malts, muscovado and coffee come though in the flavour with some blackcurrant fruitiness. Medium bodied, dry finish. Very good stout.

440ml can BBE expired a week ago. Dark hazy gold, big off-white head with a slight yellow tinge. Aroma is citrus, zest, wheat, slightly floral. Taste is very citrusy, some grain, sweet malts. Long bitter finish with a citrus tang and some resin. Medium bodied but a bit clingy on the palate in the finish, soft carbonation. Its quite nice but probably slightly below average for a NEIPA.

440ml can, 3 weeks past BBE. Hazy gold, small white head, nice retention. Aroma of passionfruit and peach, some grain and pine; nice juiciness. This follows on through the taste, juicy and smooth with a hint of grains to keep it down to earth, nice bitter bite in the finish, balanced. Very good.
