Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Hazy golden appearance with a nice foamy white head. Light orange fruity, grainy/straw, yeasty aroma. Somewhat fruity, chewy yeasty, rich bready, refreshing flavor. Good stuff!

Bottle @ Brewery, Pottenstein. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Nose is bread, grains and caramel. Flavor is paper, fruit, tobacco and earth. Medium bodied.

Stark getreidiger Beginn, in dem sich eine blecherne Bitterkeit ankündigt, die im Mittelteil dann auch hervorkommt. Herb, ziemlich würzig, grasig-bitter-metallerne Noten – alles auf einmal. Dichte Aromenvielfalt, von der aber zum Abgang nur die nun trockene Bitterkeit bleibt. Ein helles, ziemlich bitteres Festbier! 8/9/7/9/11/8

Had this as Pottensteiner Schlüggla. Botle looks a bit complex, but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest sweet-malty, not very dry. Finish still mild, modest sourish-moldy. Should be more spicy.
