500mL bottle, pours a clear pale copper blonde with a medium white head. Nose has very gentle peated smoke, with a dry biscuity malt base and light herbaceous notes. Flavour has some bacon-like smoke, maybe a touch of liquid smoke, biscuity malt, and light, sweet cereal malt. Clean, bacony smoke on the finish with gentle residual sweetness. Good stuff.

On tap at Wirtshaus Hütt'n, pours a clear copper amber with a small white head. Aroma has some herbaceous notes, light vegetal notes, toasted nuts, and bready caramel. Flavour is clean enough, with toasted bread, light caramel, and a herbaceous character. A little too herbaceous for the style but pleasant enough.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; gemischtporige, relativ stabile Schaumkrone.

0.5l bottle, thx Ryan for sharing with us! Clear red-amber body, off-white head. Lightly oxidized aroma, malty, low caramelly notes, lightly oily. Smooth taste, bit grainy and caramelly, clean, low herbal bitterness. Well rounded, pretty nice.

Bottle 0,5ltr bought in Bamberg: Not so good Franconian to watery, not so sweet and hoppy at all.

Tap at Fränkisches Bierfest. Copper, clear. Roasted. Taste is a bit too soft, could use more crunch. Drinkable, though.
