Description

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Pale and hazy, mid-sized white creamy persistent head; fresh lemony - peaches too - yeasty nose with hints of Weizen; sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; citrousy-sourish finish with a faint tartness in the aftertaste. A pleasant, refreshing Weizenbier...........

Bottle (purchased at the brewery) Straw golden coloured, "misty", lazy carbonation, pronounced aromatic hayish (or like freshly mowed grass) hoppy nose, delicate grainy dusty aromas in the background, not without a barnyardy tinge; solid, mainly bitter flavour, quite light bodied, soft MF; robust hoppy palemalty finish with a soft "tail". Superb franconian quality.... more an excellent Pilsener than a Kellerbier!

(bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Moderately sweet and yeasty, citrus fruity wheat-malty nose with a milky touch and a low level of phenols. Medium-sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly yeasty, wheat-malty taste with notes of citrus and banana; slightly sweet and sour wheaty finish with a light spicy touch. Pleasant and I appreciate the restrained phenolic spice.
