375ml bottle. Jet black colour with very small, late awakening, creamy, tan head - only a few bubbles remain. Intense, chocolately, dark malty and minimally smoky aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, some cocoa, caramel, treacle, fruity hints of plum, bacon-wrapped plum. Taste is sweet-ish, fruity, chocolately dark malty, slightly smoky, notes of plum, bacon-wrapped plum, plum butter, dark chocolate, chocolate sauce, some cocoa, minimally alcoholic hints of plum wine; well hidden alcohol overall. Viscous, sirupy texture, smooth and soft, creamy palate, soft and fine carbonation, lingering, slightly cloying finish. Superbly balanced, very harmonious, neither too sweet nor too smoky. Excellent!

Amber colour, hazy, no head. Tastes like a blend of cider and Belgian IPA. Apple juice, citrus hops, honey, floral, bubblegum, warming alcohol. Medium bitterness, lightly sour. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good.

Dziwadlo do potegi, niby cydr a dla mnie eau de vie z gruszka w butelce, do tego starty cynamon i wiory mokra deska, slodko i ulegalki, czyli nadpsute gruszki. Wiecej tu dla mnie gruszkowych klimatow niz jablkowych. Piany niewiele, Barwa metna pomaranczowo-morelowa. Nie do konca udany eksperyment Kormorana.

Almost no head, hazy foxy redbrown beer; no visible carbonation. Smokey nose, smoked wood, hint at tarr, spruce. Further hints of maple syrup. First taste impression is sweet, almost non-hopped worts-like. Wet bread. Again - if only lightly - smoked notes, and just a bit of acidity surrounding the main taste. Hints at other grains - especially oats. Finish is mildly smoked malts. Warming up, a flavour as from smoked mushrooms. Very light body, obviously, but not empty. No carbonation, still. Enormously interesting, and more so, quite pleasing. To find something like this (check the ingredients!), with a load of local things assembled, instead of crazy we-try-everything-craft, in craft-crazy Poland is a treat. And abject thanks to Jaca for getting this gem to Antwerpen!
