Description
The origins of the brewery can be traced back to 1797, with an inn and a grocer always mentioned. It has been family-owned since 1919. Today Günter and Rainer Wagner are responsible for the cool liquid from the keg, of which especially the Ungespundete Lagerbier has a cult status in Bamberg and the region. The brewery has an annual production of 17,000 hectoliters.

50 cl Krug at Landbierparadis .Cloudy orange colour with nice beige head. Nice cereals taste with pear and hops Medium body and carbo. Nice one

Bottle 50cl. poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear medium amber colour, good creamy off-white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing. Aroma sweet and mild roasted malt, grain, caramel, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, grain, light roast, dark bread, caramel, sugary notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering roasty notes, sugary notes, well-made, nice.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Yellow session), pours a clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Nose has grassiness, straw, and biscuity malt. Flavour has grassy hops, straw, and biscuity malt. Vegetal, herbal, and straw-like. Okay.
