Draft pour at Aslin's 2 year anniversary event. Slightly hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, stone fruit. Medium body with a dry finish.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 27 July 2017) Cloudy golden amber colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, strawberries and rhubarb. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, orange, strawberries, fruit salad and a balanced citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting, a bit messy, but quite tasty. Quite nice.

Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-09 getrunken. Dieses mit vielen Gewürzen gebraute Porter kommt vollkommen belanglos daher. Eine echte Enttäuschung denn weder das Kokus, Vanilie und Zimt kann seine Aromen ins Bier bringen. Nur der Pfeffer ist erkennbar. Aber hier auch paßt das Aroma nicht zum Bier. Unter dem Strich eine Enttäuschung dazu kommt das es wie abgestanden im Glas steht. Schade - sehr schade.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20170830) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had sweetness, burnt malts, cinnamon and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, cinnamon, spiciness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, burnt and bitter. Too spicy to be tasty.

From backlog. 473ml can from Biererei, Berlin. Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of caramely malts, zesty lemon, tropical fruits and grassy hops. Taste is sweetish, stingy hoppy and zesty lemony with some pine, citrus, resin and caramely malts. Finish is sweet, stingy and grassy hoppy with some herbal notes, pine, lemon, resin and caramely maltiness. Quite sweet and slightly unbalanced DIPA.

Can. Metallic, copper onion nose. Murky cloudy orange, golden foam. Medium full creamy, copper electrode on the tongue. Fruit smoothie base, onions, quick metallic finish. Not harmonic.

Can. Murky orange color with off-white head that’s a bit soapy. Aroma is biscuity, tea, piney, toasted malts, bready yeasts. Taste is tea, biscuity, piney, metallic, a bit soapy. Quite aggressive, but fine-bubbled carbonation. Not excellent, although it’s a comparably fresh can.
